Tempo
Privacy
Your files stay in your folder. There is no account, no sign-up and no cloud database. Nothing of yours lives on our servers.
Your files
Tempo is a face on your files. They are plain Markdown in a folder you choose, on your Mac or in your iCloud Drive. Open them in any editor. Delete the app and the files stay.
What the app can send, only if you say so
With your permission the app sends this site one summary a day: counts of what was used — never text, never file names, never an account. The install id is random, stored hashed, and can be reset in the app. Turn it off in the app's settings at any time; nothing already sent identifies you.
- Crash reports — off by default. If you turn them on, a crash sends a technical report to Sentry with the random install id. Never your files, never your words.
- The daily pulse — off by default. One summary a day with counts only: minutes focused, sessions, days active, which pages were opened.
- Feedback — only what you write. If you send a report from the app, we receive the text you typed, the version, the system, the language and the install id. An email only if you add one, only for a reply.
What we never do
- Read your files or your journal.
- Require an account or a sign-up.
- Sell or share anything about you.
- Track you across the web.
This website
This page is served like the rest of maxclax.com and keeps ordinary server logs for a short time. If you join the waiting list, we keep your email until the mail is sent or you leave the list.
