The app

Sunclax is provided as it is, with care but without a guarantee that it fits every purpose. Keep a copy of your folder — the files are plain text, so any backup tool works.

The trial, Pro, and what is free

Everything in Sunclax Pro is free for 30 days after the first launch, without a card, an account or a mail. After that a key keeps Pro: the heatmap and shortcuts, the 7- and 30-day history, every other board and layout, hands and fingers, the report, the widgets, Practice and Ask AI.

Without a key the counting goes on, free, forever: the menu bar, and today — its total, dial, hours and clicks. Nothing is lost — a key opens every day counted since the first — and no file of yours is touched.

Licence

One person, one key — it works on your other Macs too. No account — your email is the receipt.

What you buy

A one-time licence, for one person: the same key works on your other Macs. Sunclax Pro is bought once; a year of updates from the purchase is included, and after that the app keeps working on the version you have. The price is on the pricing page.

How the key arrives

After the purchase you get an email with your key and an Activate link to the activate page, where one button opens the app with the key filled in. In the app: Sunclax › Settings › Licence › Enter key. The key lives in that Mac's keychain, never in your folder.

When the key is checked

The key is checked when you activate a Mac and when you deactivate one, and once after a renewal or refund date. A licensed Mac asks the shop nothing more: a key bought once is never asked again. If the shop cannot be reached, nothing changes — a licensed Mac keeps working for as long as it is offline. Never during the trial.

Moving to another Mac

Settings › Licence › Deactivate this Mac frees its place. Then enter the key on the new one.

Lost your key

Settings › Licence › Send my key again opens the shop's customer portal on our domain: your orders, receipts, the keys, the card. A magic link to the email you bought with; there is nothing to log into.

The licence door

Activation, the one check after a renewal or refund date, and deactivation go through maxclax.com/api/sunclax/license/ to the shop: the key and a name for this Mac, nothing else. The door refuses a key for another product and slows down repeated tries. What it keeps is on the privacy page.

Updates and support

The app asks this site every six hours whether a newer version is out, and installs one in place after you say yes. Support is Help › Send feedback in the app, or Get in Touch on this site; a person reads it.

Refunds

Within 30 days of a purchase, no questions asked. Use Get in Touch on this page with the email you bought with. After a refund the key stops unlocking Pro; your files stay where they are, and the free part keeps working.

Your data

Covered on the privacy page: what is counted and never, the few things the app can send and the switch for each, and what never leaves the Mac.

These terms may change with a new release; the date of the last change is at the foot of this page.
